Thanksgiving Week!

Well I still haven't felt Jaxon move, but that ok I know I'll feel it soon. We spent last Saturday at my mom and dad's house and celebrated thanksgiving early, because my brother is going go out of town with his family. So we had everyone over, it was a great time. We're going celebrate with Jays family on Wednesday. We're having a blast with all this food, and all we have to bring is sweet potato casserole. Its great, and the food is wonderful.

It's a boy!

Well, I guess I'll have to change my page! We found last friday, and we couldn't be more excited! We throw a big reveal party, just to let everyone know. Jay went to party city and filled up a balloon with confetti. It was a great surprise, to me too. He accidentally pop a balloon in the house before the party started! Oops!

Today my brother and his wife went to Abilene to see the birth of their third child, Harper Jane Way. She is as cute as a button! With all these kiddo running around Tutti's house, that is surly the place I want to be!

57 Days

Ok, I know that I said in my last blog that I was going to write every week. Well, that hasn't happened!!

As many of you know I was trying to sell my house. It was on the market for 6 month, and only 10 viewing! So, I decided on trying to rent it out. It was rented out in less than a week!

The last month has been pretty crazy, trying to move all my stuff out of my house, and find a place for it at Jay's.

Well, now about the wedding! My dress finally came in, and in beautiful! I having my bridal photo soon, and I can't wait!

Till next time!

Only 94 days until the wedding!!

I know that I haven't written in the blog in a long time, but now is when the true planning begins. A week or so ago my mom started asking me questions about the ceremony and reception. So I  started thinking of stuff I want and thinking of things I need.  I thought all I needed was my dress!

Jay and I talked with the minister the other night, and everything went great. Larry had great advice for us that we will definitely use.

I've gotten all the bridesmaids dress, and Jay has already rented the tuxes. My dress should be in any day now,  I'm so excited to try it on!!! Of course we have already picked out our wedding bands. All the invitations are already in. I guess all we have left to plan is the ceremony and reception. So we have the major stuff behind us.

Well I'm going to make the promise that I will write on my blog once a week from now until the wedding.

Out with the old!!!

Well, to start for everyone that doesn't know already, I got FIRED on Friday!!! If you don't know my dad start salon for me, so I would have a place to work. I worked there for 7 years, 2 at which my dad wasn't the owner. (I'm not going to say who I worked for!) They said that I failed to preform my duties. Now anyone that has been into the salon know I didn't FAIL on any duties, but in all fairness it was the end of my contract so they had the right to let me go. They could have just told me the TRUE reason.

More important topic....
Jay and I went cake testing this weekend! The cake was divine!! I bet you won't be able to guess what going to be on the groom cake!

Jay is off to some baseball game tonight, I think it's the world series, maybe! Go RANGERS!

World Series, Wedding Cakes, and a Sore Throat

So, we're doing a pretty pathetic job keeping this blog updated. Yesterday, was amazing! For the first time in history - the Texas Rangers clinched the American League and will now have their first appearance in the World Series. Glad to say I have tickets for the home games, and was able to witness the Rangers destroy the Yankees last night, 6-1.

In other news, today was supposed to be the day we met with the Cake Lady. After a morning of shopping for Texas Rangers Championship shirts with Cindy and Kristi, we headed out to Keller to meet with Chasity, the cake lady. As we were approaching Starbucks, Jay asked, "so, how will we know it's her?" I responded, "she'll have some cake in some containers." As I checked my phone to make sure we were meeting at the right place, I noticed an email from Chasity saying that she had a sore throat and would need to reschedule our meeting.

So today we are just going to take it easy. Having dinner tonight with the Ways, and Andrea is working on her scrapbook with her mom. Still so much left to plan, so keep posted for more updates!
